Through our partnership with the Steve Waugh Foundation, AVJennings and its employees are dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for young people living with rare diseases. Thanks to a variety of fundraising initiatives, we have been able to help raise awareness and generate significant funds for the Foundation enabling it to provide much-needed support to many families.

One such initiative is the design, construction and sale of a series of homes known as ‘The Renee Series’. The Renee series is named in honour of Renee Eliades who is an ambassador for the Steve Waugh Foundation and one of its recipients. The foundation has been supporting Renee for several years by providing oxygen bottles that allow her greater independence and mobility and a higher quality of life.

To date, AVJennings has designed, constructed and sold six homes with the profits from the sales directed to the Steve Waugh Foundation. We are delighted to announce that the sixth home in the series, the Renee 6 has recently SOLD at Riverton.

The house design was a prototype with of liveable housing design principles to ensure the design was inclusive for all and is the first of this prototype to be built in Queensland. Boasting 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas plus a multi-purpose room and double lock-up garage, situated on at 420m2 block, innovative design features include keyless entry, parcel letterbox, garage door opening app and more, plus a number of accessible inclusions to suit families of all abilities.

The Renee 6 Home was a true labour of love. From breaking ground in July 2021, to construction, plumbing and electrical, landscaping, styling and more, a whopping 53 generous contractors, suppliers and supporters have come together with AVJennings to build this one-of-a-kind, innovative family home! Check out the 53 businesses involved with this project below.
