Community developer AVJennings has reached a significant milestone at its Williamstown community, Waterline Place, with construction reaching the top level of its 7-storey apartment building Merchant. This marks an important milestone for the project and the wider community.

Over 70 stakeholders including AVJennings CEO Phil Kearns and staff, principals from prominent architecture firm Elenberg Fraser, town planners, and other key consultants and suppliers gathered atop the building to commemorate the achievement.

AVJennings Chief Executive Officer, Phil Kearns said “the completion of the building is a significant milestone for the flagship community as it is the last apartment building in the precinct and the last of its height in the City of Hobsons Bay. The Merchant apartment topping out is a proud moment for AVJennings and represents an important achievement in the delivery of the Waterline Place community.”

Comprising 127 residences, the striking design features of the building represent the site’s industrial past and the rippling water of the bay. Not only will it enhance the local area, but it will also offer local buyers the opportunity to stay in the suburb they know and love.
