Staff fundraisers.

We're so proud of the individual contributions that our people have made to various charities over the years. Here are some of the highlights:

City2Surf – Sydney, 2018

Since 2010, AVJennings have entered a team into the City2Surf. AVJ Team Waugh raises funds for the Steve Waugh Foundation, which has allowed the Foundation to provide assistance to children suffering with rare diseases and their families.

Many current and past AVJennings employees, friends and family participate in the annual 14km trek from Sydney’s city centre to Bondi Beach City2Surf. The team have done an incredible job raising close to $115,000 for the Steve Waugh Foundation over the past 9 years.

The Captain’s Ride, 2016

Two members of our team again participated in the Captain's Ride this year, a cycling challenge to raise funds for the Steve Waugh Foundation. Commencing in Mittagong on the 29th October 2016, they rode 742.5km and climbed 13,049 vertical metres over six days, with the ride concluding at the top of Dead Horse Gap, Mt Kosciusko. Well done to Natalie Conroy (Qld) and Joe Cassera (Vic). And who can forget the memorable contributions of our 2015 team: Rod Chadwick, George Diniakos and Paul Roberts.

City2Sea – Melbourne, 2016

Our runners braved torrential rain to complete the Melbourne City2Sea 14km challenge in 2016 to follow up our successful experience in 2014. Our fundraising placed us in the top 5 Corporate Teams, another huge effort for the Steve Waugh Foundation!

Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge, 2016

Every year since 2009 a team of AVJennings riders from Queensland enjoy tackling this charity cycle challenge, a 100km ride from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. Fundraising each year has assisted a variety of worthy causes such as the Steve Waugh Foundation, Diabetes Australia QLD and the Heart Foundation.

City2Surf – Sydney, 2016

The City2Surf is a favourite event on the AVJennings calendar. Every year since 2009 we've entered running teams of staff, family and friends. Our dedicated entrants travel from all across Australia to participate. They have done an incredible job raising close to $95,000 for the Steve Waugh Foundation.
