Lyndarum North and AVJennings were thrilled to partner with the City of Whittlesea to support Carols by Candlelight for the second year running.  

Held on Friday, 8 December at Redleap Reserve, the night was a huge success. Over 3,500 people came to sing-a-long to carols creating a wonderful festive atmosphere.

Showcasing the best of Whittlesea, The Community Carols Choir and Diamond Valley Brass Band performed all the classic Christmas songs, including old favorites Jingle Bells, Silent Night and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. 

But the fun didn’t stop there. Carolers were also treated to face-painting, a live nativity scene, animal farm and children’s craft workshops where children had the chance to create their very own Christmas tree decorations to be enjoyed for years to come.

Attendees were also extremely generous, donating over $1,000 to the Steve Waugh Foundation through the purchase of LED candles as supplied by AVJennings.

The most magical part of the night? A special visit from Santa Claus himself! Visiting all the way from the North Pole with some of his mischievous elves, the children couldn’t believe their eyes and were so excited.
