School’s out and it’s time to have some wholesome family fun!
If you’re looking for some exciting local activities to enjoy these summer school holidays, here are some ideas:
1. Splash around at Whittlesea Swim Centre
Whittlesea Swim Centre's GOswim Swimming and Water Safety School Holiday Program runs during the summer school holidays. The program is open to all ages and helps students work on their water safety skills and swimming technique while enjoying fun activities.
Lessons will run from Monday 10th January – Friday 14th January, and students will take part in a daily 30-minute session between 9am and 12pm. Students will also have unlimited swimming access before or after their lesson.
The program is free for current GOswim members and $66.50 for non-members. Whittlesea Swim Centre is a 20-minute drive from Aspect.
Alternatively, head to Whittlesea Swim Centre from 9am – 6pm daily to simply enjoy their swimming facilities, including a 25m main pool, learner’s pool, toddler pool, splash pad and waterslide.
2. Funfields Whittlesea
Experience a day of full-on fun at Funfields, Victoria’s biggest theme park, located a short 17-minute drive from Aspect! Funfields is open for the summer, featuring new rides including Dragon’s Revenge Swing, Pegasus Sky Bounce, Mystic Kingdom, Amazonia Water Play, Mystic Tree and more.
Funfields offers a range of ticket and pass options, so you can find the best deal for your family. General admission pricing is $48 for little ones and $55 for those over 130cm.

3. TunzaFun and Village Cinemas at Westfield Plenty Valley
For an afternoon of entertainment, Westfield Plenty Valley has you covered with games, activities and movies!
TunzaFun Xtreme boasts over 1,000 square metres of attractions that every member of the family can enjoy. These include arcade games, laser tag, climbing walls and a 9D cinema. Only an escalator ride away, you can catch the latest family flicks at Village Cinemas.
