Catch a Movie with the Family
A trip to the movies is always a great way to spend a school holiday afternoon. This season, Village Cinemas Westfield Plenty Valley and Reading Cinemas Pacific Epping are screening exciting family-friendly films, including A Minecraft Movie and a new take on Snow White. Whether you’re after action-packed adventure or a classic fairytale, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Creative Fun at Home
If you prefer to stay in, there are plenty of fun activities to set up at home over the holidays.
Easter Egg Hunt: Organise your own Easter egg hunt indoors or in your backyard. If you'd like to cut down on chocolate, try using egg-shaped containers filled with small toys or fun surprises instead.
Baking Fun: Get into the holiday spirit by decorating Easter-themed cupcakes or no-bake options like honey joys, rocky road or rice crispy treats. It’s a delicious way to keep the kids entertained while creating special memories together in the kitchen.
DIY Easter Crafts: Create Easter decorations, such as handmade bunny masks, paper egg garlands, or painted eggs. This is a great way to engage kids in hands-on creativity while adding a festive touch to your home.
Storytime & Movie Night: Set up a cosy Easter-themed storytime, followed by a family movie night featuring holiday classics like Peter Rabbit or Hop.
Whether you’re hunting for eggs, exploring nature, diving into the magical world of Harry Potter, or simply enjoying time with loved ones at home, we hope your autumn school holidays are filled with fun and excitement.
