Riverton, Jimboomba QLD

Riverton Attracts Gold.

Commonwealth and Olympic Games gold medallist Brenden Hall has led the first ‘VIP Event’ at ‘Riverton’, the new AVJennings community at Jimboomba, as part of the exclusive ‘Moonie Crescent’ land release.

Mr Hall has won multiple medals at the Paralympic Games, World Championships and Commonwealth Games as an amputee swimmer. On the night, he inspired the audience with his stories about overcoming adversity to achieve success.

Mr Hall also spoke about the importance of community. A Queenslander through and through, Hall purchased an AVJennings property in Brisbane last year and he told attendees about the support he and his partner, Brittany have received. “It’s a great community atmosphere and we are looking forward to raising our family there,” Mr Hall said.

There was a vibrant atmosphere at the VIP evening, held on April 26th, with guests afforded exclusive access to purchase some of the first Riverside Esplanade and 800m lots, along with an exclusive VIP offer prior to being publicly released.

AVJennings Queensland State Manager, Mr Barry Young, said, “One of the outstanding features of Riverton is the variety of home sites. It’s a place where it is still possible to build your dream home. For some that means low maintenance, while for others, it’s a big place on a large block. The new Moonie Crescent release offers a diverse selection of benched homesites ranging from 375m to a generously proportioned 824m catering for all stages of life.

“It was great to see so many enthusiastic people from various locations keen to build their future in this gorgeous town. The central location to key employment hubs and an active lifestyle will be a major drawcard to Riverton,” Mr Young said.

Jimboomba Redbacks Club Secretary, Clinton White, said his club was pleased to attend the exclusive event and meet one of Queensland’s most successful athletes. “It was a privilege to hear Brendan’s story and I know all of us were inspired by his achievements,” Mr White said.

With an eye on long term recruiting, White is hoping for a steady stream of players from the Riverton community.

“It looks perfect for families and like AVJennings, our club is all about fostering a great community,” Mr White said.

Those in attendance were treated to delicious catering supplied by local Café of Cusack, with many guests saying they will “definitely visit the café on the weekend”.
